Find an O.D.

The Find an O.D. link will take you to the American Optometric Association website to locate an Optometrist in your local area. You can search by zip code, address, or Doctor's name and Practice.

The American Optometric Association encourages parents to include a trip to the optometrist in the list of well-baby check-ups. Assessments at six to twelve months of age can determine healthy development of vision. Early detection of eye conditions is the best way to ensure your child has healthy vision for successful development—now and in the future.

Eye emergencies include cuts, scratches, objects in the eye, burns, chemical exposure, and blunt injuries to the eye or eyelid. Eye pain can be categorized as either ocular pain (on the surface of the eye) or orbital pain (behind or in the eye.) both should be treated immediately.
